IMPORTANT NOTICE CONCERNING LEGAL USE:
Pixlsaver is designed strictly for lawful screen capturing, media sharing, and productivity. Storing, uploading, or distributing any illegal content—including child exploitation material, non-consensual imagery, malware, or stolen data—is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination, data deletion, and referral to law enforcement agencies.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading or utilizing the Pixlsaver desktop clients, accessing the Pixlsaver website (pixlsaver.com), or utilizing the Pixlsaver API (collectively, the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use or access the Service.

2. Eligibility & Account Security

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in certain jurisdictions) to use the Service. By registering, you warrant that all information provided is accurate and current. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, password, two-factor authentication (2FA), and API keys. You accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or API key.

3. Strict Prohibition of Illegal Content and Activities

You explicitly agree that you will NOT use the Service, desktop capture utilities, or storage infrastructure to conduct any unlawful activity or store, upload, transmit, or share any illegal, infringing, or harmful content. Specifically prohibited activities include, without limitation:

  • Child Exploitation & Abuse Material (CSAM / CSAE): We maintain an absolute zero-tolerance policy. Any account found uploading or hosting CSAM will be terminated immediately, and all associated information will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate law enforcement authorities.
  • Non-Consensual Imagery: Uploading or sharing non-consensual intimate imagery, voyeuristic recordings, or images captured without consent where a reasonable expectation of privacy exists.
  • Malicious Software & Cybercrime: Hosting or distributing computer viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, keyloggers, phishing pages, credential dumps, or tools intended to facilitate unauthorized network intrusions or denial-of-service attacks.
  • Violence & Hate: Storing or distributing material that promotes terrorism, violent extremism, illegal weapons fabrication, self-harm, or targeted harassment/hate speech against individuals or groups.
  • Unauthorized Interception of Communications: Capturing, recording, or publishing private conversations, confidential financial records, health data, or personal identifiable information without the explicit lawful authority and consent of all involved parties.
  • Intellectual Property Infringement: Uploading copyrighted images, videos, or trade secrets without authorization from the legitimate copyright or trademark owner.

4. Storage Quotas and Fair Use

Pixlsaver provides storage resources based on account plans. Free tier accounts are subject to storage limits (currently 250 MB total aggregate storage for screenshots and video clips). Pixlsaver reserves the right to enforce storage caps, reject incoming uploads that exceed quotas, and remove or archive accounts that remain inactive for extended periods.

5. User Content & License

You retain ownership of the photos, images, and videos you capture and upload to Pixlsaver. By uploading content, you grant Pixlsaver a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license solely to host, store, cache, generate thumbnails for, and display your media as necessary to operate the Service and provide you with shareable links.

6. Termination & Law Enforcement Cooperation

Pixlsaver reserves the absolute right to suspend, disable, or terminate any user account or API key immediately, without notice or liability, if we determine or suspect in our sole discretion that an account has violated these Terms or engaged in unlawful conduct.

Pixlsaver fully cooperates with judicial orders, valid subpoenas, search warrants, and law enforcement investigations concerning violations of criminal law.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, UPTIME, LOSS OF DATA, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. PIXLSAVER DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR PERMANENTLY SECURE. ALWAYS MAINTAIN LOCAL BACKUPS OF CRITICAL MEDIA.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIXLSAVER AND ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

9. DMCA & Abuse Contact

If you believe that any content hosted on Pixlsaver infringes your copyright or violates law, please submit an abuse notification to: abuse@pixlsaver.com with the exact URL of the offending content and relevant details.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service following any modifications constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated Terms.
